The atmosphere of the King Superior Double Room tells of an elegant and stately past, which, however, embraces the presence of modern elements without disrupting it. The frescoed roofs, the decorated floors and the characteristic wood and marble console create an ambience of refined style, within which two guests can stay, thanks to the presence of a double bed measuring 180 cm by 200 cm.

While the room’s design evokes the atmosphere of 15th-century aristocratic palaces, it is the installation of the work Auriga, painted by artist Benedetto Poma, that invites visitors to travel even further back in time. Represented here is the victorious charioteer, inspired by the famous Greek work of the same name from the early classical era. The majestic grandeur of Poma’s sculptural painting clearly emerges here.

The room is located on the second floor and can be reached via the characteristic stairs typical of Cephaludese dwellings. Measuring 27 square metres, it has a balcony overlooking the old town, an air-conditioning system, a minibar, a TV, a hairdryer and Wi-Fi access. Guests will also be greeted with a veg toiletries, slippers and a bathrobe.
